This step formalizes work that has naturally grown out of hands-on collaboration with B2B marketing teams dealing with unreliable tracking, fragile integrations, and slow campaign execution.
TrackFunnels originally launched as a productivity tool to help teams create consistent UTM links and bring structure to campaign tracking. Over time, through direct work with B2B marketing teams, we began to notice a recurring pattern. Teams didn’t lack tools, but they struggled to make those tools work together reliably.
Data often didn’t flow cleanly between systems. The same metric meant different things in different tools. Campaigns took longer to launch because even small changes felt risky, and numbers frequently needed explanation before they could be trusted.
In practice, these issues were rarely caused by a single platform. They appeared at the intersections — where marketing, engineering, analytics, and RevOps rely on the same systems, but no one clearly owns how those systems connect or how data moves between them.
As MarTech stacks expanded, the real work increasingly became connective. Someone had to bridge teams, clarify data definitions, validate integrations, and make sure changes didn’t quietly break measurement or automation. That work was already happening — just without structure or shared context.
At the same time, AI-driven decisioning is becoming embedded across almost every marketing platform. While automation promises efficiency, the fundamentals haven’t changed.
