Integrate ActiveCampaign with your TrackFunnels Account

Integrating ActiveCampaign allows you to see UTM Link clicks directly in your TrackFunnels account.

The integration of your ActiveCampaign account with TrackFunnels account involves the following steps.

Steps to follow for integration

1. In your TrackFunnels account, got to Account Settings > Integrations and click on the Integrate button next to ActiveCampaign.
   You will be taken to the ActiveCampaign Integration screen where you can generate a webhook to use in your ActiveCampaign account. Currently, we have 2 options to integrate ActiveCampaign:
   • Email Link Click Tracking, and
   • Tag Added Tracking
   Select the appropriate "Event Trigger" that you plan on tracking, add a note (if needed for your identification). Then, click on Generate Webhook button. A webhook URL will be generated and appear on your screen. Copy the URL and have it saved or keep the tab open as we add this Webhook to the ActiveCampaign account.
2. In a new tab, head over to your ActiveCampaign account.
   Go to Settings > Developer and click on the "Manage Webhook" button as shown below.
3. You'll reach the screen with a list of all Webhooks you have added so far. If this is the first time you are adding a Webhook, you'll see an empty page. Click on the Add a Webhook button.
4. Select the "Standard" Webhook type
5. This'll take you to the following screen:
   • Name: Add a name of this webhook e.g. TrackFunnels Integration for Link Clicks (you can name it anything that'll make it easier for you to identify it later.)
   • URL: Paste the Webhook URL you generated in your TrackFunnels account. This will be something like https://trackfunnels.com/hook/xx/xxxx/email/xx
   • List: Select the list that you want to capture in this integration
   • Events: Select the exact event that you selected when generating your TrackFunnels Webhook.
     • If you selected Email Link Clicks when generating TrackFunnels Webhook, select "Link Clicked" from this list of events.
     • If you selected Tag Added when generating TrackFunnels Webhook, select "Contact Tag Added" from this list of events.
   • Initialize from Source: In this field, select all the options. What this means is that we'll capture the events irrespective of how they happened i.e. whether initiated by user or admin or API etc.
6. Click on save. Your TrackFunnels account is now integrated to your ActiveCampaign account and will start receiving data immediately.

Data Received for Email Link Clicks

Currently, we'll offer data for Link Clicked only for the links that you built with Trackfunnels. This will show up in your "Your Saved Links" Dashboard next to your links under the column "Clicks Received".

Data Received for Tag Added
